Aims
Chopsticks (North Yorkshire) Limited is an exempt charity (Reg No 28519R). It is an Industrial and Provident Society and is a non-profit making, member-led organisation which aims to:
- Provide work based activities for adults with a learning disability and/or physical disability
- Assist members, where appropriate, to move on into paid or supported employment through provision of work experience.
- Provide meaningful work placements to long term unemployed people within the New Deal 18-24 and 25+ client groups
- Provide services to older people and the disabled to assist them to retain independence and to remain in their own home
