Homegrown Food Festival Northallerton 2019
We were lucky enough to be named the charity of choice for the above Festival which took place on Sunday, 30th June. Despite a very windy location for our stall, we had an extremely successful day and met a lot of lovely people. The tombola proved to be very popular, as was the mystery dip for the kids and also the raffle. The latter obviously went so well because of the amazing prizes donated by local businesses, which included:
A bottle of wine from Maxwell's, some very expensive perfume from Boots, a beautiful cake stand from Amanda Pearson, 2 vouchers for a cut and blowdry from Cutting It, a bottle of wine from Majestic Wines, a £30 voucher and some biscuits from Lewis & Cooper, a £10 meat voucher from R. White butchers, a £5 voucher from Lakeland, a £20 voucher from The Willowbeck, a voucher for a meal for two in their restaurant from Sam Turner's, gorgeous bunch of flowers from Hutton Flowers, a fancy bottle of lemon gin from Little Gin Festival, a nail art station from Grovers toy shop, breakfast for two at Parklands cafe, a Hogwarts watch, and a bottle of chardonnay from The Willowbeck.
Our garden ware items were also a great success as we sold out of bug houses and bird boxes and received an order for a hedgehog house.
All in all we made over £591 for Chopsticks so thank you very much to everybody who supported us on the day.
Our next event is likely to be the Micklegate Soap Box Challenge on August 26th so feel free to contact us if you would like to sponsor our Choppy Choppy Chop Sticks kart for that event.
