Veg Out

Chopsticks are currently focusing on their 'Garden In The Yard' scheme which consists of greenscaping for local businesses. The members and staff tidy up business areas and produce and refurbish the grounds with our wooden products which includes, horse shoe planters, benches and trellis!  We visited 'Veg Out' in Barnard Castle who have a sensory garden for people with Alzheimers as part of our 'Garden In The Yard' project. Members day out!

Thanks to the kind donations we recieved Chopsticks were able to take their members on a great day out!

The members started their journey on the diesel train from pickering station and then later on visited Whitby! Whilst out we stuck with tradition and got fish and chips at the seaside and visited the old sweet shops to purchase the famous rock candy.

Safe to say by the end of the day the members bellys were full and they were ready to return home!

All Saints Church donation!

Chopsticks was chosen to receive a donation of £500 by All Saints Church after an annual event that was run previously. A number of charities were asked to decorate a tree and the general public chose which tree they liked most and donated money for their chosen charity. We are incredibly grateful for the donation and all the money will go into the development appeal in aid of helping our charity and its members.
