Tasha, Anthony and Niamh attended the Learning Disability and Autism Partnership Board celebration day in York. They listened to people talk about the importance of self-advocacy and how it helped them become more independant. Niahm was keen to get up and speak to everyone however we had nothing prepared for her as it was the first meeting we have attendeed. As it was a celebration, they provided us with a delicious lunch and both Niamh and Anthony are looking forward to attending the next meeting.
