In Loving Memory of Robert
29 July 1952 – 9 October 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert, who left us on 9 October 2025. Robert was a cherished member of the Chopsticks family for many years, and his warmth, humour and kindness touched everyone he met.
A true gentleman, Robert’s stories and wit will always be remembered, whether it was his perfectly packed sticks or his hilarious impression of the dog from the Walls Sausages advert. He had a unique ability to make people laugh and feel welcome.
Robert was a great friend to many and a true superstar. His legacy of joy and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Robert’s funeral took place at St Peter’s Church, Osmotherley, where family, friends and colleagues gathered to celebrate his life.
Rest in peace, Robert. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. ❤️
