We are

Chopsticks

Logo for Chopsticks Charity featuring a circular teal background with yellow rays emanating from the center and the words 'Chopsticks Charity' in white text.

Chopsticks is a small, community-focused organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities through meaningful, hands-on work.

Our members spend their days making kindling from donated timber, creating wooden gifts, tending local gardens, helping neighbours and learning new skills that build confidence and independence.

It’s a warm, steady place where people feel welcomed and encouraged. Progress happens one day at a time, and every achievement, big or small, is noticed and celebrated.

Our Values

These values shape daily life at Chopsticks and guide how we support our members.

Values

Inclusion

Everyone is welcomed and given the support they need to grow at their own pace. Every person matters.

Sustainability

We use what we have wisely. Donated timber and community support become useful, meaningful products.

Why It Matters

Every day at Chopsticks brings something to be proud of — a new skill learned, a challenge faced, a routine forming, a laugh shared or a moment of independence gained.

These small steps build confidence and show what meaningful, supported work can do.
