August 2026 Newsletter
August is always a busy month for our gardening team. However, it's been a warm one and, as you may have noticed, the grass has been looking a little dry and short, leaving very little for our grass-cutting team to cut.
Not to worry, though. Our customers have had plenty of weeds to pull instead, keeping everyone busy! 🌱
Arcadia Darlington 🎮
Our Outreach Team enjoyed a fantastic evening out at Arcadia Darlington. They spent the evening playing a variety of video games and became quite competitive on the dance machine, with plenty of laughter along the way.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, with a range of activities available, including a rage room and a private karaoke room. It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, socialise, and create lasting memories together.

Great effort from Ella as she learned a new skill this month.
Ella successfully used a banding machine to secure bundles of wood and keep them safely together.
Rachael demonstrated some lovely painting skills during this activity.
Judging by the smile on her face, she was clearly enjoying herself and taking great pleasure in the task. It is wonderful to see her confidence and creativity shine through while trying different activities and having fun.
Oreo’s Corner 🐾
Our boy Oreo is such a sociable character, and the people we support are always happy to see him. He loves spending time with everyone, and there is never a shortage of fuss and cuddles when he is around. Oreo's friendly nature brings lots of smiles, and he is a much-loved part of our days.
